Like true explorers we braved the cold and wet conditions to explore ‘Who needs Milton Creek park?’
The children really enjoyed packing their backpacks and making the preparations! We took binoculars, magnifying glasses, paper to record, a camera, pencil, bug and bird guide and of course their morning snacks!
We found evidence of such a variety of wildlife – families of snails, rabbit holes, dog and human footprints, worms, a bird nest and even a fox’s den! As the children were the true explorers they took these photos as evidence:

We loved exploring and finding out new things for ourselves. Well done to all of the children who behaved so well and thank you to the adults who supported the trip. We had a great time!
