Milton Court is a one-form entry school for children aged 4 to 11 years old. Milton Court is federated with Kemsley Primary Academy and we both became academies in April 2013 sponsored by REAch2 Academy Trust.
Milton Court is a very friendly school where children are encouraged to become confident, caring and articulate and to use their abilities to the full. We provide a calm and happy atmosphere and set high standards of respect, courtesy, hard work and achievement for all children and adults. As well as teaching and fostering positive attitudes in the children to enable them to become responsible members of the community we teach a broad and balanced curriculum to teach skills and aptitudes to enable children to become independent learners. The school offers a range of extended services to parents, including breakfast club every morning and Fun Club every afternoon from 3.30 – 4.30pm.
The school’s last inspection was in January 2015 and the school was judged to be requires improvement but with good elements and rapidly improving. We are continuing to work with parents, pupils, staff, REAch2 and Governors and continue to improve on a daily basis. We share this regularly with parents by posting on our website, our blog and also through our weekly newsletters.
We have an open door policy and value the support of parents and carers. This is designed to provide opportunity for anyone involved in or interested in the school to raise questions or seek information directly from me. You can email Mr Minton at firstname.lastname@example.org , speak to the school office to make an appointment to see us.
We are now pleased to publish the final report from our recent Ofsted Inspection in March 2017. Thank you for all your continued to support with our work to improve the school and the life chances for all our children.
Please take the time to read the report and if you have any questions about what is presented do not hesitate to contact Mr Minton on the playground, via email at email@example.com or through the school office.
