Child-Led Learning

In child-led learning time (choosing time) children can access classroom resources as well as planned out activities. This week Acorn class has enjoyed practicing their writing, role-playing police men, reading in the book cornerHere are some photos from this time.

Gingerbread Men

Last week we learnt all about recipes before following one to make gingerbread men. We had a lot of fun adding ingredients, mixing them together, and decorating the gingerbread men once they were cooked.


We looked at the book ‘The Foggy Foggy Forest’ in book club this evening. We then had a go at making our own silhouette pictures!

Pantomime excitement

Nursery and Reception enjoyed watching the pantomime Peter Pan. The children behaved brilliantly and we are very proud of how they managed all of the travelling!
